Asier Arrese

Head of TERRITORY at the HAZI Foundation, which covers Natural Environment, Forestry and Rural Development. He studied Forestry Engineering, and has extensive experience in strategic planning and European projects, mostly in relation to nature conservation, the timber value chain, and territorial planning. In addition to technical work in these areas, he has held posts of responsibility in public administration in the Basque Country, as Managing Director of the HAZI Foundation and Head of Forestry and Natural Heritage in the Gipuzkoa Provincial Council and the Basque Government respectively.
