Gundula Prokop

Gundula Prokop (MSc, MBA) is senior expert and project manager at the Austrian Environment Agency (Umweltbundesamt), her key working areas are land take, soil sealing and land recycling.

Gundula is coordinator of the Austrian programme “Brown Field Dialoge”, a multi annual programme with many activities to boost land recycling in Austria, including a funding scheme, webinars, an annual conference, a political round table, an award, an advisory service for land owners etc.

Gundula is author and editor of national and international publications to the above-mentioned topics. In particular noteworthy are the „Report on best practices for limiting soil sealing and mitigating its effects“ contracted by DG Environment , and the “Status quo report on land take in Austria” contracted by the Austrian Environment Ministry.
