Olatz Unamunzaga

Degree in Biology from the UPV/EHU and PhD in Agricultural Sciences from the University of Zaragoza. She is currently Head of Innovation and Technology at NEIKER, a job that she combines with responsibility for the technical department of Natural Resources Conservation and as a researcher at the same technology centre. She has extensive experience in soil sciences aimed at implementing good agricultural practices and efficient use of nutrients, erosion studies and soil science studies. In recent years, her work has focused on developing and applying Life Cycle Analysis methodology in the agri-food sector with the aim of improving farming systems from an environmental, economic and social point of view, always based around protecting the soil.
